Critical Reflection

Looking back at when I first arrived at Prof Brad's class, I was pessimistic about this module. I felt that this module was a waste of time and only took up my man hours for an unimportant module. However, on this day, I can assure you that my opinion of mine has completely changed. Firstly, I believe that I did manage to achieve the goals I set for myself many weeks ago. I did want to actively participate in this module and I feel I did so in every lesson. Furthermore, I had severe stage fright when it came to presenting but by the end of the trimester, I think I became more confident and vocal. During my presentation, I felt as if I thoroughly improved compared to the me who was struggling to present during my poly days. I could look back at my journey and be satisfied with myself for putting in the effort I needed to achieve what I wanted from this module. I may not have changed myself miraculously but I'm still impressed with how far I have come. I also feel that I have strong communication skills with the people I work because i am able communcaicate with ease with not just my teamates but all of the my classmates but the ability to critically think was something that I improved throughout this trimester. Each lesson taught me a new way to critically think and analyze the problems I face. Nevertheless, I hope to apply all the techniques I learnt to gradually improve using these skills more often.

Looking at our research project, I would like to focus on the references portion of our report. Previously, Neither was I aware of the importance of citing my references properly nor the trouble I could get into for failing to cite my sources properly. Now I am more aware of its importance and uses. Furthermore, I now feel qualified to list my references accurately according to the 7th edition APA style. I also took the initiative to look through and adjust the references page of my teams' reports. I can produce a tidy and accurate reference page from now on on all of my future projects.

In overall, I would be lying if I said that i didn't enjoy my time in this module throughtout the semester. I enjoyed attending the class because i found it fun with Brad. I can look back at my time in your classes and call it a fruitful one.

Cheers Prof Brad!
